Privacy Policy
How we handle data when you use AI Subtitle Pro.
Summary
We prioritize privacy. By default, the core processing (audio extraction, transcription, and subtitle rendering) happens locally in your browser so your files are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose a cloud option.
Information we may collect
- Files you upload when you choose to use cloud services (optional).
- Basic diagnostic data (errors and usage metrics) if you opt in to help improve the service.
- Contact information if you submit a support request.
In-browser processing
The default experience keeps all processing inside your browser. Video and audio files are read locally and the transcription and subtitle generation happens in your device memory. We never transmit your media to our servers in this mode.
Optional cloud upload
If you choose to upload files for cloud transcription or storage, those files will be uploaded to the provider you select (for example, our cloud storage). Uploaded files are retained only as long as necessary to complete the requested operation and will be deleted on request. Review the upload flow carefully before choosing it.
Cookies and third-party services
We use minimal cookies for session and preferences. Third-party services (analytics, error tracking) may collect anonymized usage data if enabled; you can opt out of telemetry in the app settings where available.
Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect data we store. However, no service is perfectly secure.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Contact us at [email protected] for any data requests.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the site. For legal compliance, this is a starter template — please adapt it to your local laws and use a legal review before publishing for a production service.
